The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) confer a Fellowship award on Mr Ola Olukoyede, the EFCC Boss.

On Thursday, February 22, 2024, Mr. Ola Olukoyede, the esteemed Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), was conferred with the Fellowship award by the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN).

CIFCFIN is the only professional body chartered by statute with a multidisciplinary and multisectoral mandate to advance and promote the practice of forensics and fraud investigations in Nigeria. 

During a prestigious ceremony held at the EFCC headquarters, Dr. Gashinbaki, I.B., the Pioneer President and Chairman, Governing Council, on behalf of the Governing Council and Management of the Institute, presented the award to Mr. Olukoyede. Dr. Gashinbaki noted, that the Fellowship Award represents the highest professional honor bestowed by the Institute, recognizing individuals of exceptional character and professional conduct within the field. He emphasized the exclusivity of the Fellowship, highlighting that it is "reserved for people of distinction." 

Mr. Ola Olukoyede in his response, appreciated the President, Governing Council and management of the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN) and promised to continue to uphold integrity and ensure that the menace of corruption in Nigeria is properly dealt with.

The ceremony was witnessed by top officials from the two Organisations, including the Registrar/CEO of the Institute, Dr Isa Salifu and the Secretary to the Commission, Alh MuhammadH. Hammajoda, respectively.
