CIFCFIN WARMS UP TO JOIN ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONAL BODIES OF NIGERIA (APBN)
The first Vice President of APBN, Prof. Akaro M. Mainoma, led the delegation from APBN to the CIFCFIN Secretariat in Gwarinpa Abuja on March 19th 2024, as part of the Institute's admission process, to join the Body (APBN). The delegation was received by the 2nd Vice President of CIFCFIN, Prof. SAS Aruwa, who led the CIFCFIN team, consisting of Council Member Dr. Christian Chigbu, Dr. Isa Egah Salifu , Registrar/CEO and Hajiya Salamatu Oniyangi , Director Membership and Professional Engagement.
APBN is the umbrella body of recognized professional Associations, promoting a new era of cooperation among Nigerian professionals and ensuring professionalism. In January 1992, the Federal Government officially recognized APBN as the third leg of the tripod of the Organized Private Sector (OPS).
The Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria is the only professional body chartered by statute with a multidisciplinary and multisectoral mandate to advance and promote the practice of forensics and fraud investigations in Nigeria.
Following CIFCFIN's application to join the body, this visit marks the final lap, to bring to a closure, the admission process.
This is another Milestone recorded by the institute.
